  • Define the population on which the detailed assessment will be performed.
  • Define the objectives for the detailed assessment of the selected health condition and its
    determinants.
  • Design methods to obtain the information.
  • Use the literature to obtain valid instruments.

    selected problem.

  • Identify the resources for carrying out the program.
  • Develop a plan to promote community involvement in the program.
